“Charting a path through Transdisciplinary Collaborative Design with Studio-based 学习”  

This session will explore a cross-university, cross-disciplinary collaboration (Coastal 社区 Design Collaborative , CCDC) that was established for engineering and architecture students between ODU and Hampton University. The collaboration led to an NSF project to model effective trans-disciplinary collaborative research and design in teaching, 学习, 和生产力. Trans-disciplinary collaborative design can also be called Studio Based 学习. It provides the initial sense of legitimately belonging to a profession, a crucial step toward long-term productivity within the profession that bridges the gap between the academic and professional worlds.
